So I've been getting pretty good at making coffee. Or at least coffee that I like. I enjoy it. There's a certain amount of pleasure that one can take when making this highly ritualized morning drink. The steps can be very mechanical and consuming, which helps get your mind centered on the present task. It also helps that it's like... five or seven bucks less than getting coffee at your local shop.
Now the only thing I need is to somehow get people to sit around me while I break out my laptop and attempt to look like I'm writing something cool.

Hey, if you haven't checked out Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein yet, I strongly encourage you to. Sure, Halloween is over, but if you're lucky you might still be able to catch it in theaters, like I did! It's definitely a movie meant to be seen on the big screen, so that the scale overwhelms you and the colors don't have that overwhelming digital LED screen contrast.
Much like the squid-bot sucking energy out of that downed robot in this comic, it's full of inspiration from Frankensteins before. But its themes and the ways they're realized are very different, and I don't think anybody who likes science fiction should miss it! Or if you like huge practical sets, I mean geez, I don't think anybody builds 'em like that anymore.
Well, except apparently they do!
