I finally watched Halo: Forward Unto Dawn on Netflix after leaving it in my queue for years, and I now regret waiting so long. I mean, it falls into some of the traps sci-fi films without huge budgets can (running through some normal-looking woods holding a laser gun prop, for instance), but they really did just about all you could with what they were given. Even better, you don't need to know a ton about the Halo setting to enjoy it.
So, recommendation there... I just hope I'll enjoy Halo 5 as much when it comes out at the end of the month! Well, assuming I have time to properly enjoy it...
Okay, so sometimes Gunwild gives me very specific directions as to what he'd like to see in a character. And sometimes, he basically just writes down "a bunch of orphans" in the script and I'm like, okay sure. And while being descriptive is helpful in some instances, when I just need to make up under half a dozen kids it can be great just to have at it. That way we get things like a 'Sci Pi' shirt!"
It's been a bit of a long day for us, guys. So it's black and white temporarily just to make sure we got an update ready for Saturday. Color will be up soon!
